Sanctum | FFFinos + JOW

  • Brimscombe mill Brimscombe Hill Stroud, England, GL5 2SB United Kingdom (map)

Join Long Table in the Sanctuary on Thursday 4th June for an evening of explorative sounds.

FFFINOS is the project of Manchester-based musician and producer Sam Frost who creates experimental pop music; drifting through low tempos with 2000s romplers, tunnelled-out samples and dissociative textures. Currently playing out last year’s album Air Drop as a live trio featuring Katie Pham and Robin W.

JOW is the cello-and-trumpet duo of James Gow and Pete Judge, stalwarts across the Bristol music scene. Combining elements of jazz, folk, and classical chamber music, they are an experiment in the possibilities of minimal instrumentation, but are equally celebrated for their collaborations with the likes of Adrian UtleyRachael Dadd, and coffee roasters Fire & Flow. They released their debut album in 2021 and have since released two EPs, the one that does not go straight home (2022) and to and fro (2024). Their music has been featured on BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio 3’s Late Junction, BBC Bristol, and BCFM, and on TV programmes for the BBC and Channel 4.
