We’re hosting a full programme of creative, low-cost or free activities for children, young people and families this summer holiday. Whether you want to get active, make something, learn a new skill or just spend time with friends we have workshops, crafts and activities for toddlers to teens.

Drop-in activities every day
If you’re making last minute plans to entertain the kids then our daily family activities are perfect, just just turn up, no booking needed. Monday-Saturday.

Kids Stuff Crafts 10-12am
Monday to Saturday, Kids Stuff hosts a different pay-as-you-can craft activity for children.

Scavenger Hunts
Join us for a new family-friendly scavenger hunt around Brimscombe Mill each week. Explore, follow the clues and collect a prize at the end.

Games & Activities
Our free play area and games are open all day, choose from table tennis, pool, table football and a gaming machine.

Food & Drink
The Long Table are open daily serving up amazing coffee & cakes, seasonal Pay As You Can meals and just for the holidays jacket potatoes for kids.

Play Area
Let little ones climb, slide and explore in our large, free indoor play area, with a mini climbing wall, climbing frame and slide.

Kids Kitchen From Long Table. Come along and make rice cake monsters.

Crafternoon with Leigh: Learn how to tie dye
Leigh will be hosting a tie dye crafternoon session. Book your child on to learn how to tie dye and take home their own tie dyed item.
Aimed at school age children younger children will need adult help/supervision throughout the session.
There are two sessions; 13:00-14:00 & 14:15-15:15.

Severn Rivers Trust Drop In Family Session
Join The Severn Rivers Trust by the river for a fun-filled drop-in session for families and children of all ages!
Explore the riverside on a bug-hunting adventure and get creative with river-themed crafts, including making your own clay river creature and decorating a plant pot to plant a seed to take home and grow.

Crafternoon with Susie: Lino Cut Cards
Join printmaker and pattern designer Susie Hetherington, printing handmade cards using lino blocks/stamps designed and carved by Susie. Following a floral theme, you can select a mixture of stamps, ink them with colours you can choose and mix, and create your own repeat patterns to fill up your page. Come away with a couple of unique cards (with envelopes) to send to important people in your life.
Aged 10 and upwards.

So Hootful Owls in the Sanctuary
So Hootful Owls will be joining us again in the Sanctuary. Come along and meet a selection of owls. Learn about them from their keepers and take a photo with them.

Join Sophie for a clay Crafternoon. There are two sessions you can chose for your child. At each session they will come away with their own designed clay trinket dish.

Hannah Shaw Silly Animal Stories Show
Silly Animal Stories and draw-along with Hannah Shaw
Join illustrator Hannah Shaw for some of her fun animal-themed picture book stories and draw silly animal characters with her.
Animal craft activity afterwards. Dressing as your favourite animal optional!

Join Gemma for a collage making Crafternoon.
Come & spend a colourful afternoon having fun & being spontaneous with collage with artist Gemma Pitman.
Gemma will have magazines & coloured papers that you can choose from to create a Mother Earth/Green Man/Celestial Being.

Long Table Teen Open Mic Night.
Whether you're a solo musician, part of a band, or have another talent you'd like to share, we'd love to welcome you to the stage.

Martha Lightfoot Illustration Workshop
Join writer and illustrator Martha Lightfoot for an illustration workshop.
My Weird World ~ come and draw your own imaginary land: you get to name it, map it, and invent what goes on there! Is it a magical place full of unusual creatures, a mysterious alternate universe, or a newly discovered country with a language that only you can understand? Who or what lives there? Explore it through drawing, writing, maps - or bring your own suggestions and see what happens!

Family Quiz Night
Family Quiz Night
Come down and spend the evening quizing with us at our family friendly quiz night. There will be questions for all ages and a grand prize at the end.
Teams of 6. If you don’t have a full team do come down anyway and we can pair you up with other teams.

Silly Science Show
Join Silly Science for a fun filled show in our Sanctuary.
Crowd-pleasing craziness and barmy experiments that will cease to amaze and inspire young minds. Putting the fizz-popping fun back into science this show is fun for all the family, igniting a passion for learning about the wacky world we live in!

Crafternoon with Leigh: Make Cynotype Prints
Create beautiful blue-and-white & Tumeric sun prints in this fun and creative cyanotype/anthotype workshop! Using A5-sized paper coated with a light-sensitive solution/natural tumeric, children will arrange leaves, flowers, letters, shells and other interesting objects to make their own unique designs.
Aimed at school age children.
